There is something special about older siblings when they meet their new baby for the first time. It must be such a surreal time for a child. You've been told a baby is joining the family, but only in this moment does it become real.

Ellis is the most precious baby. The older twins were a little shy at first and clung to their blankets for security, while the little one hopped right on mom's bed to examine his new brother. There was an immediate connection and I got this intense feeling that these two younger brothers are going to be close friends through their lives. The entire family squeezed into the small hospital room and welcomed sweet Ellis with open arms. I'm so lucky to photograph this family through baby's first year.
