I’ve been photographing the Craven family since Caroline was a newborn, and now we’ve just made her 5th birthday film! This session was especially sweet (not just because there was cake). Some of my favorite moments are when Caroline wins Pretty Pretty Princess and strikes a pose, mom feeding Ellis chocolate cake and the twinkle in his eye when he looks at her, washing the chocolate off their faces in the sink, and the towel wrapped tickle fight on the couch at the end of the video.
I’m currently on the search for a documentary style photographer to come to my home here in Nashville and I’m amazed to see there is hardly anyone offering in home family photography. These are the real life moments I want captured with my own daughter. In home sessions are a specialty, it takes a lot of practice to be able to go into any home and find the perfect light.
